FARM ON THE
ROOST

Farm on The Roost is a social farm. Created in order to enhance a community’s coherence, support families and vulnerable people, and help to raise a young generation of social participants. Situated down near the foot of Leith walk in Edinburgh, the farm is an adaptive reuse of a block of flats and garages that have been set for demolition due to issues such as antisocial behavior and the poor state of the flats’ roofs.
